About Pastor Festus Adewole

His Birth
The General Overseer and Senior Pastor of Christ Crusaders' Deliverance Ministries, Akute-Odo, Ifo Local Government Area, Ogun State is Pastor Festus Oluwatosin Adewole.

Born on March 15, 1965 to the family of Pa Adewole and Elizabeth Adewole at Ikaramu Akoko, Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria, Pastor Adewole was called into the deliverance ministry in 1989 after he got born again on January 12, 1987.

His birth was mysterious because all through the period of pregnancy, the mother was sickly and was highly tormented by the enemy. This informed the decision by both parents to seek for spiritual assistance from herbalist (Babalawo) when it was time for his delivery.

Little Festus was born in the shrine of an herbalist and was placed on intensive care for fear of death for several weeks. During this period, several sacrifices were offered to gods to preserve his life. Few people believed he could survive the childhood infirmity because for several days he might be unconscious and insensitive.

Normally, every new born baby is expected to cry after birth. This child of destiny spent seven days after his birth before he could cry. This was when many people had expressed their doubt about his inherent survivor.

Unfortunately, his parents were nominal Christians and believed that whatever befell them was an act of God. Assorted strands of charms and native insurance weapons were implored and tied round Festus' neck, wrists and waist for purported security by the parents to ‘tie down' his life from being snatched by ‘Satan'.

His Early Life
Festus was very tough in the early days of his life before he gave his life to Jesus. Satan used him very generously as he was unusually fearless and operated in charms in his demonic age as a youth. Very full of himself, even as a sinner he believed he would make it. ‘Aliu Sheshekume' as was fondly called by the entire community because of the way he notoriously arrogated fame and power on himself, Festus was brutal to a fault.

His Salvation Experience
Festus was generally enslaved by Satan. He was found to be a chained smoker, womanizer and engrossed with all manner of evil manipulation. He confessed that he always derived pleasure in making people sad. Festus turned out to be a pick-pocketer. He was arrested by Jesus like the biblical Paul the Apostle the day he went on the mission to go and steal money at a church service.

On the fateful day, he went to the Apostolic Faith Church Anthony, Lagos to attend the church service. He declared that while the congregation were praying, he was busy looking for bags that contain money that he could steal.

Suddenly, according to him, he heard a voice that weighed him down and felt as if someone rendered him extremely weak and tired. “I was unmoveable. Immediately, I came to the realization that I have done a great evil for the first time in my life. I burst into tears and felt a grief of condemnation. Jesus showed me my past. I wept for my destiny and Made up my mind that I will follow Him till eternity. I was transformed.

It was after this experience that after some years, God visited me during my quiet time and told me He has called me to go back to the kingdom of Satan where I was coming from and fight them to deliver as many people as possible that comes my way. God trained me and gave me dangerous anointing to scatter the demonic assembly,” said Pastor Adewole at a session of interview with Freedom News, the monthly magazine of the ministry, conducted by the editor, Pastor Yemi Adebisi.
